Academic Lecture Delivered by Chen Renyuan, Master of Chinese Moutai-flavor Liquor Making
On December 3rd, an academic lecture “About the Technique of Daqu Moutai-flavor Liquor and its Quality and Safety Standards” was held by the Department of Liquor Brewing Engineering in the grand hall of MTI. The lecturer, Mr. Chen Renyuan, is a national first-class liquor taster, vice president and chief engineer of Renhuai Branch of Guizhou Provincial Product Quality Supervision and Inspection.
Starting from the production technique flowchart of Daqu Moutai-flavor liquor, Chen introduced in detail the brewing environment, raw materials and its brewing process, vividly depicting a liquor making picture for the audience. The highlights won bursts of applause from time to time, and everyone had a deeper understanding of Moutai-flavor baijiu, which greatly stimulated the enthusiasm of students to learn more about the professional knowledge.
